CBD oil can help you meditate. CBD (Cannabidiol) an all-natural compound created in cannabis plants including hemp and marijuana. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it will NOT cause any high or “stoned” feeling. Scientists know that CBD can increase levels of the body’s own cannabis-like chemicals in the human endocannabinoid system. This system helps the body maintain balance by controlling functions such as sleep, immune response and mood.
CBD may help reduce feelings of anxiety and improve concentration, allowing the user to experience mental clarity. In the context of meditation, CBD can be a very useful tool to center and calm the mind.
This class is 90 minutes. It consists of a brief introduction on CBD, then a mindful drinking practice where CBD-infused tea will be served. The class begins with sipping the tea mindfully while listening to music. This is followed by a guided mediation featuring a mix of calming sounds including singing bowls, gongs and drum beats.
CBD tea is included in class price. As an alternative to the tea, you can purchase CBD oil products for the session in our retail shop prior to class.
All participants must be over 18 years of age.
Coffees and teas during this session are infused with industrial hemp oil from the USA, a legal product which is considered a dietary supplement by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
